Prof. Samir Naim Assaad

Speaker Profile:
Professor Samir Naim Assaad served as the chief, Division of Endocrinology (2011-2014), as well as the head of the Department of Internal Medicine (2013-2014). He obtained his medical degree from the Alexandria Medical School in 1977 and completed fellowships in endocrinology at the MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas, USA, and Western General Hospital in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. He was elected as fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1996.
He is member of the PACES committee, Cairo –Egypt.
